Responsibilities
GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: This is a full-time, grant-funded position. Campus location will be determined upon hire. This position provides pre-employment transition services to students with disabilities in collaboration with Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services, districts served under the contract and area business and industry. Responsibilities are to provide job exploration, post-secondary education or employment, accurate and consistent documentation regarding student progress, work-based learning opportunities, workplace readiness, self-advocacy skills and quarterly reports. Employment is contingent upon continued grant funding. Some evening and weekend duties required; moderate regional and state travel required. Required to utilize personal vehicle for some travel. Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record and provide proof of insurance. Will require flexible hours.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree with demonstrated successful, relevant experience in areas such as special education, social work, vocational rehabilitation, and human services.
