Merrill Manufacturing started in a one-car garage in Des Moines in 1949. In 1957, the owner moved back to Northwest Iowa and built a small building in Storm Lake, and since 1981 has doubled its sales volume four times (with another double in sales volume projected in the next 4 years)! Since Merrill started with its original building in Storm Lake, there have been eight expansions adding on to the original site. Now their 60+ employees work out of four buildings.

Products from Merrill Manufacturing are shipped around the world to all of North America, most countries of Europe and Australia. These products are for Well Water Systems and are installed when putting together private water wells, mostly specialty valves and fittings and yard hydrants.
