The Iowa Lakes Corridor team would not be able to successfully do our work without the help of various partners across the state. One such partner is the Iowa State University’s Center for Industrial Research and Service (CIRAS).

WHO THEY ARE

CIRAS was created in 1963 to help businesses and communities in Iowa prosper and grow. They use an individually-tailored strategy and work with companies to create solutions specific to the business need(s). Over the past five years, CIRAS and its partners have helped more than 4,400 businesses across every Iowa county with projects creating an economic impact of more than $3 billion.

HOW WE PARTNER

Corridor staff has partnered with CIRAS in a variety of ways in the past including through the Supply Chain event in Spring 2022, connecting businesses with the CIRAS team as a resource for education or resources, gathering industry research, joining the CIRAS team for business visits, and more.

MORE INFORMATION

CIRAS has a robust network of federal partnerships, statewide partners, ISU resources and Industry consortia. They offer workshops and trainings for topics including Industry 4.0, robotics, supply chain, logistics, and so much more. Here are a few of the upcoming trainings:
