2019 Keynote Speakers:

Mack & Ria Story – Top Story Leadership Founders
Mack Story has logged over 11,000 hours leading teams through organizational change.  He is the author of the extremely popular Blue-Collar Leadership Series.  Mack began his career in manufacturing in 1988 on the front lines of a large production machine shop.  He eventually grew himself into upper management and found his niche in Lean manufacturing and along with it, developed his passion for leadership.  Ria Story is an author, TEDx speaker, and expert in leadership and life skills for women.  Ria has nearly 20 years of experience in leadership and management.  Mack and Ria co-founded Top Story Leadership in 2008, are certified leadership speakers and trainers, and have published 22 books on leadership development and personal growth.

Highlights for them have been:

  • Helping train 20,000 Guatemalan Leaders with John Maxwell
  • Speaking at Yale University
  • Offering leadership development support for the U.S. Military, Chick-fil-A, Auburn University, Chevron, and many other organizations.

 

Jess Orr – Founder of Yokoten Solutions, and Performance Excellence System Practitioner at WestRock
Jess Orr is a continuous improvement thinker and practitioner with 10+ years experience in a variety of industries, including automotive working directly for Toyota in Georgetown, KY.  She has Six Sigma Master Black Belt training, and holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Virginia Tech.  Her areas of knowledge and skill include the Toyota Production System (TPS), A3 problem-solving, change management, value stream mapping, kaizen event facilitation, and application of continuous improvement to non-manufacturing processes.

In her current role as a Performance Excellence System Practitioner at WestRock, Jess applies her knowledge and skill to help engage and empower employees to improve their work and achieve higher levels of company performance.  She is passionate about sharing learning and best practices among the continuous improvement community.  Her website and blog can be found at www.yokotenlearning.com.
